An update to the reverse engineering software Geomagic Design X has been released. The latest version 2020.0.4 has been enhanced with features to support more efficient workflows for complex projects.
The latest update to Geomagic Design X optimizes the speed of modeling standard parts, as well as more demanding objects. Importantly, it also includes bug fixes that were noted in previous versions of the software.
What has been optimized in Geomagic Design X software version 2020.0.4?
- Licensing System Update – the latest version of the system, called CimLM 3.2, includes compatibility-related fixes that allow users to enable trial licenses for Geomagic Design X.
- Live Transfer update – now Live Transfer can support applications such as SOLIDWORKS 2021 (2006-2021) and Creo 7.0 (up to 7.0).
- Updated Native CAD File Import - now supports versions such as CATIA V5, CATIA V6, Creo (Pro/E), Inventor, SIEMENS NX, SOLIDWORKS, and STEP.
- Bug fixes detected in previous software versions.
