PCB Manufacturing - From
Prototype to Production Series
At Evatronix, we provide comprehensive printed circuit board manufacturing services for customers in Poland and international markets. We support projects from initial PCB prototypes through small and medium batches to volume production.
With extensive experience in PCB supply and manufacturing technology, we help customers select solutions suited to their technical requirements, production needs and budget. Our offer can also be extended to PCB design, component sourcing and PCB assembly, providing a complete solution from concept to finished electronic product.
All supplied printed circuit boards are manufactured in accordance with applicable IPC requirements and are subject to quality-control processes. The available solutions comply with relevant ISO and UL quality requirements.
PCB Types and Manufacturing Options
We offer a broad range of printed circuit boards for a variety of applications and industries. Depending on your project requirements, we can support the manufacture of:
Multilayer PCBs
Multilayer printed circuit boards allow complex electronic circuits to be integrated into a compact and reliable structure. They are suitable for advanced industrial, telecommunications, IT and high-density electronic applications.
Single-Sided and Double-Sided PCBs
Single-sided and double-sided boards are a practical solution for less complex electronic devices and applications where a cost-effective PCB structure is required.
Rigid PCBs
Rigid printed circuit boards are manufactured using materials selected for the project's electrical, thermal and mechanical requirements. Available material options include FR4, aluminium, Rogers, Panasonic, ceramic substrates and other materials.
Flex, Rigid-Flex and HDI PCBs
We also support flexible PCB solutions based on polyimide, rigid-flex structures and HDI boards. These technologies can be used where miniaturisation, space optimisation or increased design complexity is required.
Aluminium and Ceramic PCBs
Aluminium and ceramic substrates can be considered for applications that require effective thermal management or specialised material properties.
Industries We Support
Evatronix has supplied printed circuit boards for customers operating in a wide range of sectors, including:
PCB Prototypes
From a Single Prototype to a Finished Product
PCB prototypes make it possible to verify a design, evaluate the selected technology and prepare a project for further production. It is possible to order only a small number of prototype boards, including single pieces, before moving to a larger production order.
We work with established PCB manufacturers, assembly providers and component suppliers to help identify an appropriate option for each prototype project. Our services can include PCB manufacturing, component sourcing and prototype assembly.
Each PCB project is treated individually. We help prepare the board for assembly and support comprehensive testing to confirm that the delivered solution meets the customer’s stated requirements.
Prototype Project Support
Our engineering team can support an efficient and cost-conscious path from prototype to final product through:
Selection of a suitable PCB technology
PCB manufacturing
Component sourcing
Prototype assembly
Preparation of the PCB for the assembly process
Technical support throughout the project
Documentation Required for PCB Manufacturing
PCB manufacturing is a complex technological process that requires complete and clearly prepared production data. The preferred production format is Gerber, in which individual files define the physical layers of a printed circuit board. For drilling and milling operations, the preferred format is Excellon.
Providing complete documentation helps shorten the quotation process, avoid manufacturing delays and ensure that the board is produced in line with the intended design.
Typical Production Files
| File Extension | Layer / File Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| DRL or TXT | Drill | Drill file |
| GTO | Top Overlay / Silkscreen | Top legend layer |
| GTS | Top Soldermask | Top solder mask layer |
| GBS | Bottom Soldermask | Bottom solder mask layer |
| GTL | Top Layer | Top copper layer |
| GBL | Bottom Layer | Bottom copper layer |
| BRD | Board | Board outline and milling |
| GKO | Keep Out Layer | Defines restrictions within the design workspace |
| GTP | Top Paste | Top solder paste layer |
| GBP | Bottom Paste | Bottom solder paste layer |
| GPT | Top Pad Master | Top copper pads only; without vias, tracks or copper fills |
| GPB | Bottom Pad Master | Bottom copper pads only; without vias, tracks or copper fills |
| PHO | Photoplotter | Photoplotter file |
| RPT | Report | Report file |
| GMx | Mechanical Layer X | Mechanical layers for board outline, milling, descriptions and notes |
| GPx | Inner Plane Layer X | Internal plane layers |
| PX | Gerber Panels | Panel layer |
Production Documentation Guidelines
To facilitate the PCB manufacturing process, please:
-
Complete the PCB quotation form with as much information as possible.
-
Provide a clear stack-up description—either as a text file, graphical document or on a dedicated mechanical layer. Production files should be named according to the corresponding layers.
-
Place the board outline and milling information on a separate layer. Maintain an appropriate clearance between copper features, milling paths and the board edge.
-
Include a dedicated Keep Out layer to help maintain the required spacing from the board edge.
-
For controlled-impedance designs, provide a relevant impedance table or a clear description of the requirements.
-
Optimise the number of defined hole and drill diameters where possible, as this can reduce manufacturing cost.
-
Clearly identify plated through-holes (PTH) and non-plated through-holes (NPTH), preferably in separate drill files or in a drill map.
-
For blind or buried vias, provide separate drill files and clearly define their layer range within the stack-up.
-
Specify the required tolerances for holes, board edges and other critical mechanical features.
-
Prepare silkscreen layers so that legends do not overlap solder pads, as overlapping elements may need to be removed during production.
-
Provide a separate technical drawing when edge connectors require specific dimensions or tolerances.
If you need assistance generating production files, our technical department can help clarify the required documentation.
